Stump Puffalls (Lycoperdon pyriforme) Giclée Fine-Art Print originally painted in watercolour. Artist: Laura Clarke
A6 size / 14.8 x 10.5 cm / 5.8 x 4.1 inches
Each Giclee print is produced using archival quality, Fine Art Trade Guild approved printers, inks and paper. The paper is Eco-friendly Hahnemühle Bamboo 290gsm, made from 90% bamboo and 10% cotton. Bamboo is sustainable, acid-free, lignin-free and free from OBAs.
Bamboo is the fastest growing plant on the planet and can grow to its full height and size within 3-4 months. In the right conditions, a bamboo plant can grow over a meter in a single day. Bamboo can be grown with little water and no fertilizers or pesticides, making it sustainable, natural and resource-saving. When harvested, bamboo does not require replanting, it will grow new shoots as a result of its extensive root system, which in turn protects soil from erosion; with this, bamboo can help prevent landslides. Bamboo sequesters carbon dioxide from the environment – twice as much as many other trees and plants – it also produces 35% more oxygen than trees of equivalent size.
Each print comes in an environmentally friendly, compostable cello sleeve with a recycled backing board to keep it from bending or folding.
